Welcome to
A-Better Knife & Tool Co.
"Buy it once, use it forever."
We create handforged knives and blades. We build to last using 40 years of aerospace quality engineering standards. Each piece is its own unique design - classic American Frontier styles combined with modern metallurgy and engineering. You can trust our knives won't break in the field, dull on the first use, or bend under pressure.
All of Mike’s custom blades come with lifetime sharpening. You cover the shipping to us, we’ll sharpen and cover the shipping for the return.
We forge our knives to work hard—not just look good. When the job gets tough, you need a knife that holds up, not one that lets you down.
See our knives put through real Destruction Tests —because quality should be more than a promise.

Hand-forged for hard work! This hunting knife is “The Grizzly”, and wow is it a looker. Forged out of Crucible Steel and Stabilized Hedged/Osage Orange Resin Wood scales, this knife is dense, tough, and built to last. The design draws from EDC knives from the Old West, when knives needed to be light and easy to carry and able to handle any job on the frontier.
